Now you can make ubuntu desktop transparent like windows 7 easily just by following
few step (I am not going to tell you how to totally transform ubuntu into window 7 looks)you need to switch ubuntu classic login style for this trick so switch to classic ubuntu by
Going system >> administration >> login screen >> unlock to change setting choose ubuntu
Or go to dash and type login screen and select it click on unlock bottom enter your password
And choose ubuntu classic.
Classic from drop down Menu and close and logout
Login into ubuntu o.s and go to upper panel right click on it and than go to properties
You can increase panel size and then click on background tab if you want show the upper panel bottom choose from drop down menu
And click solid color and close after that right click on desktop and got
Change background click on theme tab
And click “clearlook” theme and close it
