You can easily search these line just press ctrl+f and enter these line ' name='description'/> into mozila or any other search field

After applying meta tag description copy the URL that you have added meta tag and then open your browser with Google home page in the search field enter your web page URL that you copy past it and click on search bottom and if you see you meta tag description just after your heading that your meta tag is working
