Because making lot’s of cd and Dvd for installing operating system it’s not good idea if you have other option I am going to tell you a great tool and step by step process of making pen drive bootable. You can also make windows vista, windosws 7 and windows server 2008, and install operating system trough your pen drive.
In the present time pen drive is the best option for installing operating system not because pen drive is faster than cd or DVD, installing operating system through pen drive if your cd or DVD is not working and you can erase everything after installing operating system easily

Download win to flash from softpedea
After the downloading win to flash extract it in to your hardisk if win to flash is compressed mode

After extracting go to extracted folder and double click on Win to flash icon. A welcome screen appear click next to proceed

Browse where is windows file path (that you copy windows xp files into your hard drive) after that browse your usb drive latter and click on Next.

Next windows is term and condition accept by click “I accepted the term of the license agreement" and click continue

Next windows has confirmation windows confirm by pressing ok bottom it will erase all data of pen drive (if it has)
Wait few second to copy windows xp file into pen drive
now your pen drive bootable just restart your system and go to bios( basic input output system ) by pressing delete key or f10 and search bootable device and make boot from usb.
Save it insert your pen drive restart your computer or press f12 key just after bios prompt. Same step are use for making windows 7 and windows server 2008.
